My DVDShrink used to produce ISO files, now it's producing MDS files. I don't remember changing anything. But ISO's were alot more convenient for me. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks
Are you doing a full disk backup with no compression and plan on burning to dual layer media?, if so shrink creates a .MDS file which represents the image to be burned to disk. So when trying to burn the image, just point your burning application to the .MDS file (choose it) and burn it. Typically, with large image file creation (greater than 4gigs) on a fat32 file system, a .MDS file is created along with two image files , the .MDS file links them (it represents the ISO image file/s).
