Hello people! An ad at the top of this page i clicked on, allowed me to download something called crucial scanner which would pick the right RAM upgrade for me. I wasnt sure whether it would work or not and i have my suspicions whatever computer you have it will just forward you to the sites that are paying it money LOL. These are what it told me: http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=1F96536F31D926C3&tabid=&pagename= I have a toshiba equim M70, intel centrino, runs alright, i like it. Someone from aD told me it would be quite competitive if it had a better graphics card, but for now im not worrying about that. Now please excuse me because i dont know much about RAM, and i cant actually find any information about it through system information or anything. Am i right in thinking is is SDddr? I dno...heres what i did find about it: 0xB0080000-0xB00FFFFF Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family OK 0xC0000000-0xCFFFFFFF Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family OK 0xB0000000-0xB003FFFF Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family OK 0xFAB00000-0xFAB7FFFF Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family OK 0xB4000000-0xB7FFFFFF Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM PCI Express Root Port - 2660 OK 0xD0000000-0xD3FFFFFF Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM PCI Express Root Port - 2660 OK 0xB8000000-0xBBFFFFFF Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM PCI Express Root Port - 2662 OK 0xD4000000-0xD7FFFFFF Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM PCI Express Root Port - 2662 OK 0xB0040000-0xB00403FF Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - 265C OK 0xBC006000-0xBC0060FF Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC OK 0xBC007000-0xBC007FFF Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection OK 0xBC008000-0xBC008FFF Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Cardbus Controller OK 0xFEBFF000-0xFEBFFFFF Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Cardbus Controller OK 0xFABFF000-0xFEBFEFFF Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Cardbus Controller OK 0xBC006800-0xBC006FFF Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller OK 0xBC000000-0xBC003FFF Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller OK 0xBC004000-0xBC005FFF Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller OK 0xBC009400-0xBC0094FF SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller OK 0xBC009000-0xBC0090FF SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller OK 0xBC006400-0xBC0064FF SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller OK 0xB0040800-0xB00409FF Realtek AC97 Audio OK 0xB0040400-0xB00404FF Realtek AC97 Audio OK 0xFF000000-0xFFFFFFFF Intel(R) 82802 Firmware Hub Device OK 0xB0040C00-0xB0040FFF Intel(R) 82801FBM Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 2653 OK 0xE0000000-0xEFFFFFFF Motherboard resources OK 0xF0000000-0xF0003FFF Motherboard resources OK 0xF0004000-0xF0004FFF Motherboard resources OK 0xF0005000-0xF0005FFF Motherboard resources OK 0xF0008000-0xF000BFFF Motherboard resources OK 0xFED20000-0xFED8FFFF Motherboard resources OK 0xA0000-0xBFFFF PCI bus OK 0xA0000-0xBFFFF Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family OK 0xD4000-0xD7FFF PCI bus OK 0xD8000-0xDBFFF PCI bus OK 0xDB000-0xDBFFF Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Cardbus Controller OK 0x20000000-0xFEBFFFFF PCI bus OK Sorry if that doesnt mean anything. did you mean an equium 7100M?? if it is go here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...id=1073769600&smoid=true&ct=MH&ListType=Model if not select "desktops>equium>and whatever model number your computer is at the link below: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modSel.jsp hope that helped
open up the ram case at the bottom of the laptop and there should be a free slot. now there is a program called cpu-z, that will tell you what type of ram you currently have, so you can buy another stick of the same one.
