Can anyone provide me a list of compatible media? (I would like to know what full sized dvd media + and/or -)
I know that one can be found @ PS2OWNZ but you need a non web-based e-mail account, but I don't have one.
So could anyone like copy and paste it here? or send it to me in txt or just e-mail?
I really wanna see the list.

btw. isn't this a nice begin to start a thread like this?

These brand names are known to work.... for both mini-dvd and full sized. Excellent reputations, all of them, for being able to reliably hold data.

    Mini Dvd
    Compusa
    Prodisc
    Memorex
    Maxell
    Datawrite
    Verbatim
    RiData
    Princo

    Hope this helps.

Well i can use full sized philips +R's just fine and most -R's perfectly aswell, but p[ersonally i prefer to play with the lid on, so i use Memorex 4X pocket DVD-R's (what a stupid name for a disc :p ).

I think it all comes down to what revision your cube is though.

Sorry Superted, I just never heard of a Gamecube reading mini dvd+rs. Rumor was that it was impossible. Only dvd-r. Yeah, these work without lazer tweak, however, I wouldn't recommend messing around with the lazer unless you wanna buy a new GC soon. Who knows!
