media player 10

i just formatted,installed drivers for pc,installed graphics driver and sound,also installed codec pack,yet when i watch a dvd in media player its black and white and the screen is split in four and picture is stuttery,it plays in powerdvd ok though,, ne help ???

bye the way,,if i d/l media player 11,,will it play dvd`s automatically as media player 10 does now ???
