Hey. im having a problem with playing videos on my computer. whenever i try to play a file on my computer (ive only tested .avi filetypes, so it may have to do with a corrupted codec, or something) i get an error, and the program has to close. im redownloading the k-litemegacodecpack, so hopefully that will help. but any other suggestions?
i had this once weven with that codec pack you need to go to microsofts website and downlaod all the codec packs for dvd and audio it will say media player 9 upwards and 6.1 or something upwards download and install them both and the codecs are also used by media player classic http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/format/codecdownload.aspx Here downlaod the one for xp (if you have xp) and also downlaod the other one at the bottom and it will sort it out hopefully let me know mate
yeah. it was strange. i dunno why it happened. but, i just redownloaded the k-lite media codec thingy, and what you did. and bam! it worked! thanks a ton man. take care.
