I'm fairly new at the burning game and I want to put a Windows media player movie onto a DVD. I understand that I'll need a program to convert the files first. Any free and fairly small programs that will help me do this. Thanks in advance! ,andy2000
Wait, what format is the movie/? WMV? Try WINAVI converter it can handle alot of different file types, then just burn to dvd (using nero or whatever)
The following are widely used AVI/DivX to DVD converters: VSO's ConvertXtoDVD: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ DVD Copy 4 Platinum: http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/InterVideoDVDCopy_Profile.jsp TMPGEnc Express 3: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/te3xp.html DVD Santa: http://www.dvdsanta.com/ The Film Machine: http://members.home.nl/thefilmmachine/ NeroVision: http://ww2.nero.com/enu/index.html All are free or have fully functional free trials except ConvertXtoDVD which watermarks its output in the trial version. If by chance you already have the Nero suite of programs, you can use NeroVision Express to do the conversion. Many around here use ConvertX. There's a guide online here although all the programs are fairly simple to use. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm
Ive found a program called ConvertXtoDVD. Its downloading now but if that fails ill try WINAVI converter. Thanks. Sorry, just read your post. Haha, my luck, picked the only one which will mess with my movie. Ill try another one now. dvdSanta seems to be the best one for me.
