    I just purchased a (100) pk of Fujifilm (DVD-R) for $29.99. Is this good quality and did I get a great buy or what?

    depends on if they are made in taiwan or made in japan...

    *keeping my fingers crossed for you* that they are MADE IN JAPAN...those would be genuine TAIYO YUDENS, and if that's the case..then def. a good buy~ :)

    i'm assuming these are the 8x rated Fuji's in either format right?

    hehe...

    docTY~

    @creaky

    You seem to do a lot of passing, be it gas, thru, advice, etc. J/K, hope you and everyone associated in any way with AD has a Happy Holiday Season, regardless of your religious beliefs. Mine should be as my son let it slip that my lovely wife of 38 years "supposedly" bought me the Epson 340(?).

    I recently purchased a pack 25ct. of Fuji Film DVD-R (made in Taiwan) on sale at Rite Aid for $9.99, wanted to try them out. I've used just about every kind of media possible Maxel, Verbatim(MCC), Memorex(SUX's), Riteck, Sony, JVC(Ricoh), RCA, TDK and TY's and I have to say I was quiet surprised, NOT one single coaster, great playback and worked on six different DVD players. Guess you really never know for sure until you try them out.

    ^^ well i had the totally opposite they do not work for me and i class them as crap basically. you can see lines all over all the DVD R's in the light and i had to burn at least 6 coasters untill i got a perfect burn, most of the time i got loads of blotches where the DVD R did not burn properly. dont buy these peices of junk! i am changing back to maxwell soon! maxwell are the real true A* media.
