Memorex is a gamble however the last 3 Memorex DVD's I got from other people turned out to be Ritek F-1.

Yes, my last Memorex was Ricoh/Japan. I had one coaster out of the bunch, so it might be worth picking up.

I still get the ads but between work and so much school I forget about you guys. By the time remember it's already Saturday and I figure there's no point. I'm going to try and post next weeks ads tomorrow, if I remember.

Good luck finding them. My local Staples has MIJ Sonys in the 25 count but they're $10 ($20/50pcs) where MIT Verbs can be easily had for $13/50pcs.

Try Sears (or other stores that don't sell lots of discs)

The Sears near me still gets 50 packs of 8x Sony DVD+R that are MIJ . . plus they will price match!

Okay, to answer the questions about Verbatim DL MII - stay away. They are total junk. I did a scan on MIS vs. MII - and all four of the MII discs I burned would not pass the Nero test. MIS came through pretty good. Here are my results:

I just got an RMA from Microcenter for the 100 I purchased. So, where do we get decent DL media now that Verbatim has sent the DL manufacturing to India?

I did the same, got my RMA also, the guy was nice, he is giving me credit for a 3rd pack which I've had only 5 successful burns out of 8 discs. He did say that they are getting a lot of these back.
