    Best Buy: Fiji 25-pack +R DL $40

These likely will be either Ricoh D00 or Ritek D01 media, so be sure your burner likes it before purchasing. I get halfway decent burns with either but prefer the faster burning and somewhat better quality I obtain with the Verbatim +R DL media.

Agree with you on that Jasper44 I know what all the moochers will get along with the cheap Cd's I bought.Chris

Ya know this use to be a cheap site for me ,got a wealth of information and kept me out of the sales fliers but seems like the last few weeks I've spent more than all year. And still thinkin about doublin up that order.I'm still hoping to get some more Ty's +R cheaper than what I've been paying. Chris

ChrisC586& Jasper 44 ! - Agree about The DVD+R !Why can't they put them on sale too ! " Life is just a Cruel Mistress sometimes I suppose LOL!,Sad but often True !!!!" Still one can't complain much ! Verbatims for a little less than what we would have paid for Officedepot Media -before taxes I mean !& regular branded media at that ! As opposed to Silver Shiney's /thermals ect... I would have took those too @ that price point ! but I'm Happy they are what they are ! How Officemax Can do it on 16x media others can't,won't or don't is beyond me ? Though I suppose one could pricematch them somewhere ! But Hey ! They're shipping to my house so no traffic jams ,road trips , wasted gas ect... & did I mention we don't have a Officemax where I live just 1 100miles away? .So It was either let'em ship it free or Maybe pricematch @ Bestbuy (30 Miles away ) so easy choice to make ! Let my Keyboard do the driving !LOL! Well I guess it's true what They Say " You can never be Too rich,To thin, or have Too Many Verbatims !!!!!!!!!!!!! OR Taiyo Yudens...!" LOL! especailly at theese prices anyhow I don't know where I'll hide theese either but I'll find a way ! Happy xmas everyone CiaO!!!

Mail-in unfortunately and goes back to Oct. 31, so if you've ordered DL Verbs previously from NewEgg after Oct. 31, you won't get this rebate without using another address. It usually takes 5-6 weeks to get the rebate and may be longer during the holiday rebate season.

Are the best buy verbatims for $12.99 the 50 pack a good buy??? I have never used them before thats why I ask. I am only used to using the colored fuji (mij) only. If I buy packs of the verbs are there any specs I should look for on the spindle like the fuji spindles???

dipset121 - What aabbccdd said And then some ! Verbatim media is regarded highly right up there with Taiyo Yuden ! Which isn't so suprising as both brands use the same Azo Dye and both companies are tops with quality control & consistency ! Verbatims are A good deal@$12.99 for the 50 pack! but an even better deal @ officemax where the 16x DVD-R verbatims 50pks. are on sale for 50 pack for $7.98 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like bestbuy pretty much but a bargain is a bargain here is the link mr.hillbilly posted for this sale ! you may want to review his post as well ! http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/p...OID=-1610650059
Officemax also has free shipping if you order $50.00 or more ! What a bargain These verbatims are an even better deal than the Officedepot media sale and better quality media to boot ! So you may want to order before they get sold out at this price ! (* Trumpet Sounds)!! Charge !!!!!!!!!!!!it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL! Ciao!

I have a feeling the $7.98 price tag on the Verb DVD-R 50 pack was meant for the CD-R only. But when I ordered and saw that OfficeMax was honoring the $7.98 price, I thought I'd let all the forum roommates in on the deal. Wouldn't it be nice if Meritline or Supermediastore ran some Ty's for this price???

    WOW. this is insane.

    I just ordered 7 (seven) 50 packs of Verbatim DVD-R for $7.98 !!!!!

    http://www.officemax.com/max/soluti...odBlockOID=1611316220&expansionOID=-536895600

THAT IS CRAZY DEAL And I just got email confirmation too. ;)

You have to get up to 50$ level for Free shipping. So 7 packs come out to $55.86 + WA tax $4.80 + FREE shipping = $60.66 for 350 Premium Class 1 Media disks.

It cant get any better than this. :)

Thanks alot for all the good information I am going to try to get some over the weekend. I am kinda hesitant with buying the dvd-r media because I have never used -r media before so worst case senario I may just go to staples and make them match best buys price and get them from there. Are there any diffences with the +r or -r media for the verbs??? Should I look for mij or mit on the spindle or there is nothing to look for on the spindle???
