I'm posting all the sales, but for the new people who aren't sure, the Verbatims and Maxell are the only good ones on sale. The rest are garbage that you could use for data discs that you only need for a while or something.

    [bold]Best Buy[/bold]
    Verbatim 25-Pack DVD+R/-R for $7.99
    Verbatim 20-Pack DVD+R Double-Layer for $39.99

    [bold]Staples[/bold]
    Maxell 50-Pack DVD+R/-R for $14.94

    [bold]Kmart[/bold]
    Fujifilm 15-Pack DVD+R/-R for $5
20% off all other Fujifilm blank media

From here down is not good media......

    [bold]Target[/bold]
    Memorex 50-Pack DVD+R/-R for $15.99

    [bold]Office Depot[/bold]
    Memorex 50-Pack DVD+R/-R for $14.99

    [bold]Office Max[/bold]
    Office Max Brand 50-Pack DVD+R/-R for $13.99
    Memorex 25-Pack DVD+R/-R for $7.99
    Memorex 15-Pack DVD+R Double-Layer for $29.99

    [bold]Circuit City[/bold]
    Philips 25-Pack DVD+R/-R for $6.99

So pretty much a bad week for sales. Best Buy and Staples are the only stores with anything good.

Staple's has a huge 2 page flyer, LOL

Maxell: 50 pack spindles for $14.94

Look for the japanese spindles that's made by Hitachi!

Take an empty ink cartridge in and get another $3 off! 1 per transaction though.

Best Buy and staple's look like the only stores to go. Can't wait to see what Office Depot has>

You can get those 25 pack of verbatims a little cheaper if you price match them at another store. I wish they would have lightscribe cds on sale.

Memosux at Office Depot, Rats!!!!!! Cmag city.

I'm still waiting for those Office Depot +8x 100 pack spindles to go on sale at 20 cents each. Good ole Office Depot 8x Ritek media, same as the 30 cent taiwanese maxell riteks at staples!

Looks like my weekly media trip will only take me 800 yards away to my staple's store! I saved a lot of gas too!

Better yet,I'll take the ad over to Super Wal-mart,which is 200 yards away and let them match staple's ad!!! I know they have some of the hitachi maxells there.

Jasper44: I won't get any of the ads till tomorrow morning, any stores having the slim jewel cases on sale?

Office max usually has buy a pack of 100 and get second pack free for $25 every other week or so.

Very rare for Staple's. They only get batches of fuji and maxell every once in a while. I haven't seen them carry TDK in over a year and a half, thank god!

Movies27: If you like those maxell dash riteks, then keep an eye for Office Depots dash 8x media. Usually 25 cents each, but every once in a while they'll be as low as 20 cents. Same exact Ritek-G05 media, but cheaper. The plus 8x OD are Ritek-r03 and these will perform as well as my tys and hitachi's.

Office Max it is! They have the 2 for 1 jewel case every other week sale. Staples has better sales when they get the fuji discs and fuji jewel cases on sale. Last sale those slim cases were $8.94 for 100. That was a heck of a deal.

    OK Members,
"Work the Ad". Best Buy , Verbatim 25 pack 16x for $7.99. Take the AD to Staples where the regular price will be $19.99. Staples will "Price Match" Best Buy's Price 110%. You'll get the same Deal for $6.79 insted of $7.99. I do it all the time. Doubtful you'll find any Made in Japan Maxells though. Not in the 50 packs. All I have ever seen in that package is Made in Taiwan. Anyone know "Who" makes the Maxell DVD+R 8x MITs?

the only code for maxell 8x +r media (mit) that i have seen is maxell 002. by the way these disc are pretty good, i havent had any problems. the thing is these disc are about 6mos old and they might have changed vendors by now. this could be the same as sony -- mij is best but mit is a close second.

Ritek-R03! 30 cents each is too much for ritek media. Very good quality, but too much $$$$$

    30 cent hitachi,yuden000-T02,or MCC-004- oh yea!

Same Ritek-R03 code on the Office Depot +8x media!!!!!! These are a lot cheaper, when on sale.

    @ saugmon

Do you store all or some in slim jewel cases, im thinking about changing to them. Do you like them more then booklets // paper sleeves etc. Also if so, what are you storing the jewel cases in considering you buying from the 100's.

    Thanks Storm~

I like them for the price and keep disc from being scratched up.No labeling on them and they don't fit my home made dvd rack.

If someone want 30+ copies of some home vids that I transfer for them then they come in handy. I may send some copies to someone and these suit me very well. They fit in my back pockets so I can take them anywhere, but I can't sit down. I also use some paper sleaves/regular full size vinyl/and regular slim double vinyl cases.Even binders!

Just like media, I have a set price for what I want to pay for something. Probably cheaper on the websites, but I've had some nasty battles with fed ex and last week was UPS!

    Thanks saugmon!
I wasn't sure about those Maxell DVD+R MITs. However, the DVD-R Maxell 8x "Gold Faced" MITs have worked well for me.
They were RITEK G05. I only use these to give my Stepdaughter who has a Standalone that hates DVD+R. Personally, I'll stick with TY made MIJs & Verbs.

got a few choices actually, depending on country of origin..if made in india, in the 8x dvd+r format = moser baer

a few MCC in dvd-r format, or fujifilm in the made in taiwans...

not worth the chance in my opinion, the only good media this entire week are the Maxell's from staples (especially the Hitachi made MIJ ones if you can find them) and the Verbs from Best Buy...everything else is pretty much a waste of your $$

    docTY~

p.s. never bought a 20-pack Verb DL yet, got enough of the 10-pack ones to hold me over for the year~ :)
