    Personally, I wouldn't buy from Sony since they seem to think it's their right to hack your machine and plant a rootkit...

    Fuji's good stuff in my experience anyway, esp. if it's RICOHJPN.

    @ cincyrob our Micro Center here in Mi. is the 10 pack for $17.99 of Dl Verbs also had to pick up the Verb Cd printables 50 for $8.99 and the Verb 16x DVD +r printables 50 for $19.99 Am also looking hard at hooking up with Vonage since a 1 Year subscription gives you $ 200.00 off a new monitor at Micro Center. By the way whats your sales tax in Ohio ours is 6%. Chris

    Hmm, I just went to Staples yesterday, got the only 8x DVD+R MIJ spindle that was there(took in a Best Buy add, for price matching). I'm hoping they'll get some more 8x spindles this week, they usually have more 8x than 16x spindles there...

    @BurningAs,
    Best Buy is paying the sales tax. Of course, they will still make a profit.

    Office max has another brown bag sale. I wonder if they'll price match the verbatims from best buy to bring the price down to around $8.

    Everything you can fit in the brown bag is 15% off. Last time they had that sale they had 16x DVD -/+ verbatims for $14.99 with the brown bag they came out to $8.

    VA had no sales tax this weekend, Washington, DC has it next weekend (I think), and MD has it toward the end of Aug.

    I live in northern VA and took advantage of it yesterday and picked up 4 packs of the +R Verbatims. Tried to talk myself into taking advantage of the no tax day to buy a 50" lcd tv, but couldn't figure out how to do it without my wife finding out and taking all of my toys away. :)
