Everybody mentions DVD-R for xbox backups
For my movies, I used both + and - R with no problems.

Will it make a difference when it comes to xbox backups?
    Thanks everybody.

+r's tend to get bad burns more often than -r's and some xbox dvd drives also will not read +r's. so stick to the -r's

once you do find a disk brand/type that works....remember it. It's good to stick with disks that are known to work...and note that some of the 'brand named' disks tend to switch between dyes every now and then. This will make for unreadable games as well.
