Okay so I'm getting a pc that has a dual core 3.0 AMD 64 bit processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a 320 GB hard drive.

The only down side....it has the stupid integrated nvidia geforce 6150 SE......
I am going to be getting a 1 GB nvidia PCI x16and a 500 wat power supply in about a month[graphics card requires 350 watts current supply only 300]

But my question is, for now, will the great CPU and the massive RAM make up for the poor graphics for the time being till I get the new hardware?

I know it doesn't suppot DX10, but could I play DX9 games with maxed out settings?

Thanks, I'm not a newb, use any terms you like. And I'm new here, hi XD

No, it will just about support DX9 games with absolute minimum settings, Crysis won't even work at all.
