Has anyone else have problems saving files with this game? Whenever I turn the game back on again, my save files are lost. I used soft reset, trim rom, and safe mode(only available one for this game). Yes, auto save is on in my M3.

There was a topic about it a few days ago. Apparently, M3 is the only one that doesn't support it just yet.

That is, unless they've updated the firmware since then.

The M3 has an update out for it, also fixes 2-3 other games (Lego Star Wars) and some changes to the NDS -> GBA Linkage function.

The latest firmware is 27 and the latest gamemanager is 27a.

    Get the updates from Dualscene

Actually, when I already had the 27a update when I made the thread. What exactly am I doing wrong?

Nevermind, I just downloaded the v28 loader. Now what is this DS/GBA linkage all about? And this "force r/w" in the read method. I was always wondering whats the real differences between fast boot x1 and x4(advantages/disadvantages).

This is when you have two games - one DS game and one GBA game, i'll use Caslevania as an example:
If you have the DS game Castlevania and you have the GBA Castlevania game you can start a new game in the DS version with the "Rare Ring" straight away.
Of course, this can't normally be done when using the M3, as the GBA port is being used for the DS game, so the M3 team have been developing a way to enable this function if you have both the GBA ROM and DS ROM on the M3.

This is an option needed to get some games to work on the M3 (such as Megaman) it is an option that has been hidden for a long time, but with the increase in games needing it, it has now been unlocked for use by the end user when writing games with the scene release over 0530.

    x4 is faster than x1
x4 is thought to use more battery, though this hasn't been tested
not all games work with x4 that do with x1

    Thanks for the explanation.

New problem. In the game I just got both halves of the biometal H but can't transform into it. The screens just turns white and the game freezes.

Somethings wrong with either the rom or the way it was patched.

Also, just to let you know, you only needed half of it to transform into it. Hx is quite fun to use :)

Well, I got the rom with a romset. That shouldn't be the problem. How did you patch it?

Actually, I'm playing it on an EZIV with default settings.

If you do in fact have a clean rom, you may want to redownload the M3 firmware and client, then try it again.

I had this problem when I got the first half of Biometal H and tried using it, i found that disbaling soft reset fixed the problem.

Out of curiosity, is there a way to disable/enable stuff without rewriting the ROM to the SD card? I've always wondered that but can't seem to find an option for it, and don't really want to spend the time exploring in the M3 game manager

im pretty sure you have to rewrite it with the GM to disable/enable things.
