memoirs of a geisha (sony) trouble

    I have downloaded and tryed ripit4me and dvddecrypter still gets stuck on the same vob file no matter what I do? I know sony has tryed their best to get around all forms of copying software and this DVD is brand new so maybe they have come up with something new? Underworld Evolution did the same thing to me. Anyone know if there is anything out there that will cure what ails me?

    I have not tried this movie but do you use AnyDVD ?

    if you search, you will see that many people had success backing up both the dvds you mention. ripit4me should handle it no problem. not sure why you are having trouble. you might want to try the fab -> vobblanker -> shrink method and see if you have better luck. see the signature below for urls for downloads and guides. let us know what happens. i assume you have rebooted your computer and re-tried ripit4me... sometimes that seems to help.
