So i don't think my friend's chip can play backup cd-r, only dvd thus i cannot put the exploit on a cd-r disk. So i made an iso file using he contents of the exploit, and burned it to a dvd. When i put that dvd in, it loaded, reseted the ps2 'by itself' and gave me a red screen of death. Apparently, that didn't work. I was on the verge of giving up until i came up with an idea. Burn a copy of 'swap magic' swap to my 'EXPLOIT CD-R' and be able to install it. Uh... lol?!?
Heres the obstacle though: the swap magic HAS to be a dvd disk, but isn't the 'dvd swap magic' only supposed to play backup dvds? which means i have to use the 'swap magic' cd-r to play backup cd-r... But his ps2 won't play cd-r.. Following me?
BASICALLY: can i use swapmagic dvd to play my exploit cd-r?

I've been trying to install this exploit for a whole month now, wasting over 20 dvds and cd-rs and i'am still stuck, can somebody anybody help me out?

I dont think you can, but I maybe wrong.. So I reckon you should just try the exploit with a back up swap magic dvd and the exploit on a dvd-r.
I havent heard that you NEED to install the exploit onto a cd-r. I think the only reason everyone uses a cd-r is because the file is so small and your waisting a dvd-r when you can use a cd-r :)
    This is my guess anyways.
