memory card size choices?help really needed using for games and mms

seeing as i have 32$ USD to spend what should i do

purchase a 4gb sony or sandisk pro duo

or a 2gb sony or sandisk pro duo and a 512 or 256mb pro duo


i was thinking a 2 gb and the 512/256mb would be best because then i can keep the 512/256mb as a magic memory stick but how many isos/hombrew do you thnk would fit on a 2gb card?
im going to be keeping games on the card O_O

what do you think

I would have to say, sence you will already have the original Duo stick that came with your psp you should use that for the MMS.. Get the 4 gig as it hare more space.. you should probubly save the old stick incase you will need to downgrade/unbrick the psp.. Incase thier is a serious issue and you need to Correct the software.. As far as the homebrew software is concerned you probubly should install the CFW and then delete it off your memory stick sence the firmware is going to install on the psp itself..

no. it must be a pro duo.

why don't you just wait until you have enough for a 4gig and a 512?

 

Or use the 1 gig that came with your system originaly..

 

he already stated that he has a 32mb, meaning he has the original psp value pack. 1gigs only came in the giga pack and in the new slim bundles.

I have a 2g stick and sometimes i can only fit one game on, eg god of war or crisis core, and songs fill up the rest.

It's kinda annoying but it works fine cos u really only play 1 game at a time

my advice is, if you listen to alot of songs on the psp or watch movies or video clips on it then get the 4g, otherwise the 2g should suffice.

And why would you need to keep the a magic memory stick?

i wont be putting mp3s on it i use my mp3 player for that
and videos i keep them on my nintendo ds with my 4 gig XD


mu psp will just be for games/homebrew ( i really want to use my psp as a tv remote =D.

and i will be letting my nephew use it so it would be nice to have more then 1 game on it so he can play his games. and thats where accidental bricking comes in also

EDIT: i think i solved my problem on prizerebel.com i saw that they have the custom prize list for amazon.com im already a member and have like 7 points and every 1$usd = 1point so with shipping i can get a 512 mb for like 10 points wich is 10 bucks on amazon. i can get my 512 basically free =D* just a inbox full of spam mail*

 

in your situation, a 2gig is fine. but most of us have over 10+ games, and copying and pasting is not an option when you're on the go. my 4gig has over 50 songs, 7 cso games, snes9xtyl, psptube, and iRshell. still have 200megs left, and if i delete all the songs, it brings it up to 550, enough for one more cso.

and having pandora's battery and mms as backup is smart. one, you don't drain your main battery, and two, you don't waste your main memory stick space.

 

ok well thanks for all the help people =D im going to buy the 4 gig and use prize rebel to get my 512mb for free.

or i can just keep using prize rebel and i think they have amazon gift cards to so i can get my 4 gig for like 24 =D
