little confused as what exactly the memory in use means on the history file.appears that every time i burn a dvd the memory in use gets lower and lower and the free physical memory gets lower and lower.ive increaed the size of the swap file and have optimized my msconfig but as you can see for the history file i dont have much of the 1 gig in ram i have to show for it. i am not receiving error messgaes but picture quality is poor.
    thx

Are you running many programs in the background? Turn off Anti virus software, firewall, disconnect from the internet, ect.

Use process explorer to see what programs are taking up your resources.

    http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html

Great little free app. Doesn't even install. It will let you know what is hogging your memory.
