memory madness

    just downloaded my 10.1 patch for pinnacle studio 10 plus,and when i open the program i get the error message "low memory, studio needs 512mb of physical memory to run".
    utter nonsense as i have just done a system re load and ive got loads of memory.
    when i uninstall it it opens fine.any ideas out there?

    Don't confuse memory, with hard drive space.
    You may have 240 gig of free space, but not have 512 meg of free RAM.
    How much RAM is in your computer?

    These Days for Doing Video editing/Encodeign it is Good to have a full 1gb of Ram or more as with 512mb you can quickly run out of Resources.....

    PS: I recently Bought 2x512mb of Samsung Dual Chanell DDR3200 for $70 US which is a Very Good deal so I"m sure you could Find a simular deal...
