my motherboard says that it supports pc1600/pc2100 speeds of memory but when i look at the memory in the board the sticker on it says pc2700u ddr 333mhz. so my question is if i buy more memory does it have to be pc1600/pc2100 or can it be pc2700 Thanks.

if no problem with the pc2700 than use it but might not be running at that speed. what does it show for ram speed in the post screen before windows if your motherboard displays it? what is the make & model# of your motherboard??
