i ripped the movie underclassman with dvd fab decryptor...when i went to dvd shrink to continue, it starts and gets to about 18% and then i get a dvd shrink error message that says ... "DVD shrink encountered an error and can not continue out of memory the paging file is too small for this operation to complete" ...any ideas on how to proceed?!? If anyone can help it would be appreciated...i'm so frustrated!?! thanks in advance...PUFF
It simply means that you do not have sufficent hard disk space. Ripping DVD requires a minimum of 10Gb unfragmented space to ensure a success. State your system specs. I think your RAM is also quite low.
I had the same problem with this movie. Just happened. I don't think its the memory, cause this is the first movei that causes this. If you watch Shrink when this happens, the buffered column, keeps increasing, where usually it goes up and down, this movie for some reason makes Shrink Buffer all the data!
Need to run movie through dvd decryptor or dvdfab decryptor then process through vob blanker if this does not work you should be able to reauthor movie only if you are using anydvd in the background.
Puffman, I like you, used the DVD Decryptor, and had a problem when using Shrink. I was able to do the re-author in Shrink, to just get the Main Movie, then did backup. The buffering level went up to 104 mb but then went down a little, and Shrink was able to create an ISO file of just the main movie. I will check the DVD out at my house tonight, but think you should be able to do the same thing I did and it will work, since I had the smae EXACT problem as you about the paging file problem.
Just spent age put in post then Zone Alarm struck has habit of closing internet Ad Lib This seems like the problem I am having Run Madagascar thru AnyDvd lots of changes switched to shrink no problem on "opening" whent to back up ran for about 10 mins message like not enough storage not enough memory 114 gb on drive running 750 2100 memory
Puffman, I tried the DVD on my Sony DVD Progressive scan player last night. I had a hard time trying to play it, the files there, but it kept skipping and freezing, so i don't think the process worked for me. Im going to try again. Let me know if you get something to work!
