Hi, okay, here's the deal. I have windows xp. 512 ram. 2.5gighertz processor. And when I play movies on my computer, the video freezes and the audio keeps playing. Then when I pause it and try 2 start the video over it says that there is an error. The thing is that it's happening more and more often. Could this be a memory problem? or a videocard problem?

    Update codecs.

Try the k-lite pack, it's the best imo.

    Beyond that...
ctrl+alt+del to see how much available system resources you have. If you are out, then:

    spyware cleanse
    defrag
    delete temp files
    buy more ram
    close everything non-essential from taskbar

    And last but not least...
avoid .mov and .qt and .ram format, they suck.
