memory test during start up

    About every 30th boot my computer will have a really slow memory test it takes about 30 sec. just to pass that part. I have 2 512 ddr 400 corsair this started after I bought my second stick of ram. I really dosnt bother me but I am curious why it does that thanks for the help this site rocks

    try reseting both sticks of ram & switch the order they are in in the sockets
