memory timing

    how do i know if my memory timing is good or bad, on my 512 mb pc3200 ddr sdram (2.5-3-3-8 @ 200MHZ) and at (2.0-3-3-7 @ 166 MHZ), which one is better and if you could explain how i know or if i could change it in any way, i have a intel 2.4ghz and my mother board is AsRockP4V88, thanx

    i have another question with my 512 mb pc3200 stick, i don tthink im getting any improvent over the pc2100 512mb stick i use to have, and i looked at my mother board booklet instruction and it said about the pc3200,4 DDR DIMM slots: DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, and DDR4, 2DDR DIMM Slots Support PC3200 (DDR400), Max. 2GB. but i have no clue on were they go, because i have 4 slots which are 2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM slots (Dual Channel A: DDR1, DDR3:), and than i have dual channel ddr2, and ddr4 in black, thats y i dont know on where im suppose to put the stick into
