Hi there, Right, hopefully this is just a quick question for you guys to answer.... I have been happily ripping / burning DVDs for quite a while now, but i have a lot of MPEGs and AVI files i would like to burn onto DVD. I have a program that converts the files and burns them onto DVD, but when viewed, they are all turned into one long film / show / etc. I was wondering if there is a piece of software that would allow me to creat menus and separate the files i'm copying onto DVD - if you know what i mean? Like, if i was to put various episodes of TV shows from AVI onto DVD, instead of just having one long episode, i want to have all the episodes separate and have a menu for each disk. Is there a piece of software that can help me do this? Hope you guys can help. Cheers, Mat (BTW, if this is in the wrong forum, my apologies!)
If you have Nero Vision it will generate a menu. ConvertXtoDVD (trialware) has menu creation. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
I would choose ConvertXtoDVD over Nero simply because of quality and speed. If you want to get in depth, use DVDlab Pro. You can get a video conversion software like WinAVI or CCE to create your VOB files and use DVDlab to create your menus and compile the DVD with the VOBs. DVDlab is not what you would call user-friendly, but with a little help from forums and a little trial-an-error, it's a great tool for creating custom DVDs.
