I need to merge 2 xvid files together. I get the VBR error in VDub so I used Nandub. But when I try to append them together I get "audio streams have different data formats" error. anyway to get around this?
cad, Follow these easy steps. 1. Open VirtualDub 2. Input the first .avi 3. Under video select "direct stream copy" and under audio select "full processing mode" 4. save the new .avi 5. Input the second .avi and repeat steps 3 and 4. 6. Now both your .avis will have the same streams and you can merge them as usual. Enjoy!
Hi, @ DVDBack23..which version of virtualdub as I have tried but keep getting some message about asf with microsoft and the earlier version won't let me add the avi files.
If you get a popup about asf's and Microsoft patents then you don't have avi's. VirtualDub MPEG2 I believe has updated asf/wmv support.
