I got 2 files which are actually 2 halfs of the same movie. but for some reason, one of them got 624x352 resolution and the 2nd one got 576x320...
I've already used avi2dvd to burn some files onto dvd's but i got stuck on this one, since the resolutions are different

what program can i use to change the resolution of the avi file?

This is actually a Big problem because to Join these 2 files you will have to convert one of the Files to the Other Files Resolution which means that the file will have to be re-encoded which will have a Big Impact on the Quality of the Video.....

If you were to Not use AVI2DVD to put these files on to DVD the problem could be easilly solved By useing a Standalone Encoder Like Tmpgenc to encode each file seperately to Mpeg-2/DVD Format and after both Files have been encoded to the Same DVD Format you could Join the 2 Files together (Tmpgenc has a simple Joining feature) and then use a DVD Authoring program to Put the Joined Mpeg-2 files on to DVD....

This Method takes a little more work but you will end up with a better quality DVD and in Less ammount of Time because you won"t have to encode one of your Files Twice and when useing a Real DVD authoring program you get to add your own menu"s and Chapters to your DVD"s ...I"m sure there is a Guide in the Guides section that will explain most of this....

    Cheers
