I have been trying to do a softmod on an xbox and I have run into problems. When you turn it on, you get the big x and xbox with the microsoft label under it and then it comes up as error 13, which means: Dashboard launch failed (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed (according to another site). Is there any way to fix it without opening the xbox and doing a hotswap? Thanks.
I believe there is. Just search error 13 on AfterDawn. I found a tutorial here a little while ago. If you can't I'll help you out.
