Messiah 2 boot issues

    I have a Messiah 2 installed and it was working a while ago. Now about a month after not playing it doesn't work anymore. It boots my original jap games but doesn't play any backups or anything anymore. Anyone know what's up?

    It might be a dirty or worn laser problem. Try cleaning/adjusting the laser if you can. What version of PS2 do you have?

    I have a super old ps2 [Jap SCPH-18000]. I sent it back to the modder since they guaranteed it to work or else they'd replace it. I dunno if it'd be a worn/dirty laser because then it would boot, but just have issues booting. Plus the ps2 has never really been used since the day I got it.
