Hmmm.. I just got the magic3 yesterday. Installed, but there is no way to verify it. The copy that I made DVD games and CD games don't work. Now I'm damn confused.... Is it the games or the Chip or my installation... I'm sad..... Is there anyone has a copied game that I can try???
How can it not work ? Have you been soldering yourself ? I am glad i bought (and let it solder) the Messiah chip two months ago. I've made about 15 DVD copies sofar and no problems at all. I think the Magic 3 works for all PS2 versions so it has to work in your's. Mayby you should check the start up procedure. Good luck from... The Messiah
I see you make a Global image and burn at 1x speed. PFFFF what a waste of time..! Sorry i don't mean to ... you, but i make my DVD-copies 1:1 at 2,4x speed with Nero 5.5.9.17 I should say give it a try...
I don't think making an image or burning on the fly makes any difference. I burnt on the fly using Nero and it worked and then I created an image from the original and burnt another at 2x and it worked also.
I installed the Magic 3 in My version 7 PS2 and it works beautifully. I am burning both CD and DVD Games using my HP 200i DVD Writer and NERO 5.5.9.17. 5 CD games and 10 DVD games so far and all is well. Did you install and if so did you use the directions for your version?
Thank you much. I got it to work. The problem was when I closed the unit, I some how broke one of the wires. The DVD games that I copied using Nero and Prassi Primod Work. The CDR games That I copied using Nero, CDRWin and CloneCD also work. Thank you again

Hey. I just recently had a Messiah 2 Modchip installed in my v7 playstatsion. I paid 130 for the chip and the installation, due to the fact that it is extremely hard. This thing KICKS ASS! It reads everything. I highly reccomend this chip. You dont have to swap or anything. It also works with all versions of the PS2. I dont know anything about the magic 3, but this thing kicks ass!

Hey I just had a pre instlalled magic 3.1 and it bugged out on me, I made like 5 cd-r's of copys some straight and some from images, I used Alcohol 120% and they would load to the PS2 screen and thats it, PS1 copys booted though??, So now I'm returning the whole unit for another, but now I want the messiah 2 cause everyone says its just the same and its good. I heard one thing though that it doesn't play pal games?? is that true (messiah 2 original not pro) some one tell me please, and anything else about the magic 3.1
I assume that it does play pal games, mainly because mod chips are designed to play all versions, ain't they?
I HAVE mixed comment from every one meesiah 2 pro better no magic 3.1 is better PLZ TELL ME BECUSE i have a store nere bye that only installs magics but it costs $180.00 U.S and magic 3.1 cost $45.00 U.S bur no were installs messiahs so what should i do
