you must have a working iso.
if not, most problems occur with the configuration "use no umd"
if it doesn't work while enabled, take off the umd. if it's still not working, disable the function and put a umd.
oh yeah your cpu clock should be at least 222 or more. the faster the better. 333 is t he best. :)

Hey I downloaded MGS Portable and it came with a folder containing 49 files and the total is equal to 920mb. I've been read this thread and all that that helped was to extract using winrar or open the first file with winwar? It's not in Winwar format, its a "Unknown application". The thread mentions "entracting" but there is nothing to extract. So I'm assuming since its already a folder with files in it, that it has ALREADY been extracted??? Am I suppose to make this into an ISO? If so, how? Thanks alot!

It is winrar or some other compression like winrar...some ppl do some strange things with winrar like having extensions .001, .002... just force winrar to open the first file and extract it.(Right click -Open with...-look for winrar on the list if not there go to browse program files- winrar-winrar.) Oh yea and also in Winrar go to options - settings - intergration and uncheck iso. that causes alot of problem for ppl who dont know its a iso file and assume it is a rar.

Ok I forced the first file to open with WinWar and it gave me "c-mgspoe.iso. Whats the next step? I tried extracting the iso onto my 4GB memory stick iso folder but then it gave me this "Write error in the file c=mgspoe.iso. Probably the disk is full". I have a PSP with the firmware 3.10 OE-A.

lol errr clearly means your psp drive is full or theres a limit in some areas. Dont extract it to the psp straight away xtract to ur pc then copy the iso file to ur iso folder in psp. Error free way.......most times.....
