hi i have just dl mgs3 and it booted fine in color and all with sm 2.0 !! but when in the main menu when i press new game it then goes back to press start screen(this happens for all the options on the main menu) can someone plz hlep?? has any 1 had the same probs ?? could it be a bad burn ?? PLZ HELP !!
I'll help you if you help me Firstly i think what you are doing wrong is you are pressing 'X' instead of 'O' which in the MGS games is the confirm button (not 'X') - if thats not it then i apologise as i cant help you if that is what it is then you can help me now where did you download your copy and how did you burn it? - thats all i need to know (i already have a copy but can't seem to get it to work when i burn it - just wanted to see if the copy you have is the same as mine)

I was gonna but it taking over 100 hours, and im on 1mb dsl :S. But if it works perfect then sweet. Did u patch it or do the swap magic cd pal mode then swap back to swap magic dvd and then swap that for mgs3
hmmm. . . thanks for the info - i still cant get mine to work though what was your downloaded file like? was it just a DVD img or was it a lot of winrar files? mine is the latter and i cant get it to work ;_;
thanks Ashman - sorry about all these questions but do you know where i can get a program that does that? (thats user friendly) i have come across a program called 'cd/dvd genearator' but it seems a little difficult to use and it keeps asking for the 'product code' for the DVD
Look for one of the rar files that is named similar to this: SLUS.7545 The file name without the period is actually the product code.
Right ok! i am extracting it all again now so i will try this in a minute hopefully this will work usually the .rar files have a bin/cue file in and i know what to do with them but i was at a loss with this one *keeps fingers crossed*
right! i have found the product code but will i need to put stuff in the - producer name, Copyright holder, and the Volume identifier sections? and after that i assume i just place the files in to CD/DVD Generator? - but when you say same order do you mean Alphabetically (which is what they are in Winrar? - directorys first and then a .dat file a .elf file the product code file and a .cnf file) thanks so much for your help i have been clicking reset on the browser to see if anyone has replied nearly all day
mime came in a rar file all the was in the .rar was the mgs3.iso and password txt thats it extracted it then wroye with dvd decypter
