Ok so theres a bit of a story coming up about Mice Living in my PS2...

Two weeks ago i went on holiday to and i decided to take my PS2 along with me, now i have the network adapter (its a old bulky PS2 by the way)which i've taken the back panel off. I have no idea where that back pannel is but i thought at the time just to leave it, it wouldn't make a difference (i reget that now :S) I packed the PS2 in my suitcase with all the wires and stuff along with clothes and general holiday things. When i got there i set up with the TV there and to be honest didn't use it that much but enough to be sure these mice only jumped in on the last day as i'm sure they would of been fried if they were inside it whilst it was on...So anyways i packed it up with everything else in the suitcase and came home, i was unpacking everything and when i picked up the PS2 there was a noise so i looked down the empty network adapter slot and guess what i saw?! A MOUSE!!! It was sqeezing though the hole in the side to where all the curcuits and stuff are in the PlayStation!!! So now i pulled it out and erm...well its been "dealt" with...I rushed the PlayStation into a bucket and put a toolbox on top of it and moved it to my garage...After a moment to calm down (I mean what the hell are mice doing my my PS2) I went into the garage and took off the toolbox from the bucket ANOTHER MOUSE JUMPED OUT!!! I was shocked and it ran away into the garage...I searched for it for a while and then gave up deciding it could be anywhere now and i've laided down some traps...

Now i've placed the PS2 on its side covering the empty network adapter and am a bit worried about what i might find inside of the PS2 now...I'm going to take it apart to see the damage caused and if like there is more or something...

Will keep you posted on my findings...might take some pictures soon...

I know it sounds weird buts its seriously true and to be honest i have little hope for the PS2 surviving this :S

EDIT: Took the PS2 apart and had a look inside...there was several mouse droppings which and some fur which i now see was from some clothes they chewed trying to keep warm during the flight i guess...Seems to work fine was well now but it smells really bad :S

The mice couldnt of actually damaged the system from the expansion bay area, just open it up, clean it out, and it should be fine.

No but there weren't JUST in the expansion bay area, if you look to the side you will see some small holes, they've been inside there...

Yes, they could have damaged it if they chewed at the PCB or the cables inside, but luckily they didnt.

Same happened to me, but I had a whole family with nest & everything inside a speaker of my Hi-Fi, and can“t understand how they could bear the noise, because the device is quite powerful!!

I knew about keyboard for ps2, headset, mic, HD and all, but Ofolion got a mouse, is it wireless? (lol)
