Ok so i just bought a 1 gb kingston, japan made to use with my cyclods and it worked perfect earlier today. But when I first tried to play tetris ds it said save file corrupted deleting, and froze. Not my micro sd cant be used in my pc or mac partition. it jsut says disc not formatted, so I hit yes format, adn it says disc cannot be formatted, same in mac. And when I put it in my cyclods it says not fat16 or fat32 please format. So what should I do, return the microsd for a new one or is there a way to fix this problem? Its the same if I use the sd card thing I got with the kingston, or with the usb thing that came with the cyclods. Please Help!!!

uhmm did you upgrade your firmware??? because i have read in a forum (cyclods forum.. i think...) that there are about 7 people who have the same problems... you should read the forum maybe they have solved the problem.

He can't upgrade the firmware if the computer won't read the card to put the firmware on. I think you did break it. In some instances, cards will break. Looks like you were the unlucky one. All you can do now is pretty much exchange it for a new one. And whats difference does it make if the card is made in Japan? My card is a 4GB microSDHC class 6 and it does excellent.

I don't think a firmware update could have caused the card to break like that unless it has a firmware updater like Supercard does. And he said he was playing Tetris DS when this happened.

Ok, so I just exchanged it for a new one on my way back from my university the next day and this one works fine, like the other one did. But it hasn't "broken" yet. Its nearly full right now and all the games work fine, even tetris. So that micro sd was probably just a broken one. The funny thing is that I returned it and since my computer cant access it all of the nds games are still on it, but I'm sure it wont matter anyways sicne it is broken. I hope its not due to firmware, should i try to downgrade it to the last update instead of the new one, or is this not the real issue?

The firmware isn't the issue. You just had a faulty card is all. Always use the latest firmware.
