I've got an Excel 2003 problem I was hoping someone could address? I have a shortcut on my desktop and the other day the program just started not working. It's the only office product not working. I tried repairing office, un-installing just excel and re-installing it, then I un-installed the whole office program and put it back on and I still can't get excel to work at all. Anyone have any suggestions please??

When you click on the Excel icon, it shows, Excel 2003 and then normally the program would load behind it, but it goes away and nothing comes up at all. When you try to access an actual Excel docement, it says, "cannot find file "X" (or one of it's components). Make sure path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are avail.

Ok. i think I found something here...I ran a virus scan and I came up with a trojan. TROJ_HAXDOR.AS. The solution talks about editing the registry, but I've never done that at all. I went to start- then run and typed regedt32 and the editor came up, but I'm not sure what to do from here...Can anyone help me with this?
