I am having problems with my Outlook program.

Since last Thursday (I believe) I have been getting an error message whenever I attempt to open Outlook. My normal 'techie' relative doesn't have much experience with Outlook so he's not sure he can help. I haven't found anything on Google (that I can understand anyway). So, as always I am turning to Afterdawn for help, you guys have yet to fail me. :)

    So the basics:

I have Windows XP, and Microsoft Office 2000. Which evidently isn't supported by Microsoft anymore.

Here is the exact error I am getting:

I have done each of these and outlook closes and when I reopen it, it does the same thing. It seems to load Outlook, then just hangs when it is loading up the messages in my inbox. Not getting new messages mind you, but just the old saved messages.

Just an FYI, I am not the most savy computer user, so I apologize in advance for any stupid questions I may ask in this thread. I was going to copy and paste the technical part of the error report but it's huge and the copy function doesn't seem to work on it.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks for your help in advance.

You could try running the repair wizard for Microsoft Outlook.

    Go to the control panel
    Add/Remove programs
    Find Microsoft Office
There should be an option to either change or repair MS office. Select it.
From there follow the on screen instructions.
