Microsoft Says the Days of Free Windows 7 to 10 or 11 Updates Are Over

    The updates to Windows 11 were only free if your hardware qualifies. It's highly doubtful the hardware of anyone using Windows 7 or 8 will qualify. There are a lot of people sporting pretty beefy Windows 10 machines that didn't qualify.
