Whenever I use Microsoft, it always freezes at some point giving me the following error: "Word 2007 has stopped working" and I would then have to either restart the application or close it. I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and service pack 1 RC1.
Have you installed all of the updates for Office? http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/maincatalog.aspx By the way, you'll have to use Internet Explorer for the above link. I only mention this in case you're using a different browser (Safari, Opera, Firefox, etc...).
If there is an option for "Error reporting" then do it. You could then be linked to an appropriate Microsoft support page that might help you out.
I tried the diagnostic check on office and it said that it did not find any errors. I just recently found out that all of my office products always have the "Program has stopped working error". All of my office programs worked previously. And recently i have also uninstalled the service pack RC1 for vista. Any suggestions?
Have your tried performing a repair of Office? Basically, perform the same steps you would take to install office, but instead of performing an install, it will give you an option to perform a repair.
Vista eh? A lot of my Vista applications crashed constintly. Couldn't even run the darn net. Rolled back to XP ftw. And I use MS Office 2001, I have 2007, to annoying.
