Hi I have done a search here for it ,but it came up zero, Has anyone used ,owned or have knowledge on this brand/or model? there are a lot going through Ebay here in Australia each day from $150-$210 .[SD card extra] I would appreciate some views on this if possible, It's just needed to take family movies & stills, also what size SD card should I get if I did buy-- 256/512/1gb? their homepage shows it & the specs http://202.39.72.2/Singapore/Web/Pr...31&PHPSESSID=1402cdeccce759f183b1b7cd3af3a6d9 thank you Rickxs
I had a look at it. Don't expect high quality there... The following spec kills it: 640 x 480: 12 fps in asf format; 30 fps in avi format 320 x 240: 30 fps For TV quality video it should be 720x576 at 25fps (PAL), 720x480 at 30fps.
I'm also doing some ebaying from Australia. And I also would like to get an opinion from someone who's actually used one. I know enough about video to realise these specs are very low-end. That's obvious. I'm looking to get one of these multi-function units that I can throw in the glove box and give to my 2 year old kid to use now and then. I'd like to know if they actually work as advertised, and if they are reasonably durable. Obviously they are made cheaply, but as long as there is no inherant design fault, I'm hoping the MV-320 will serve it's purpose.
actually they seem to be going up in price now , I dont need a top end camera , thats what I wanted to do with it , I paid good money $1200 for a JVC camcorder in 1990 & the caps dried out making it worthless, after taking special care of it, I have converted quite a few movies to VCD at 320x240 & the quality was pretty darn acceptable, it can't be just Australia that they are being sold in regards
I just purchased this camcorder a few days ago. It doesn't reach 30fps as claimed. The best it can do seems to be 20fps at 640x480 avi mode, and when there is a lot of motion it goes down to about 16fps. Needless to say the image doesn't look very smooth. But the definition of smoothness differs from person to person. Best way to make sure is to bring your own SD card and do a test drive before you make a decision.
thanks for that trouble is they are on Ebay , a bit hard to try what you ask, I just bought a MV320 at $160aus --[$122 US] on Friday regards
