mini dv camcorder

    Im thinking of buying a minidv camcorder.People on this website said "do not buy a dvd camcorder" , so my next question is,with minidv tapes do you get an adaptor to show those tapes in a vcr like the vhs-c tapes? I know you can hook it up to your pc and record onto dvd disks.But can I just pop it out of the camcorder and into a adaptor and play it in my vcr.

    There are special vcr's on the market that play miniDV, but their not very common. You can connect your camera to the TV (or VCR) through the analog output.
