Has anyone been able to get these to boot? I need to know whether my laser needs adjusting, if I have a corrupted iso or if my media is the problem. I'm using Sony Handycam Mini DVD-RWs. I'm not sure how to check if I have a messed backup, other than mounting it on a virtual drive, but when I do that, the computer cannot read the drive. Now I'm not sure if that's just the nature of the gamecube iso or if it is indeed corrupted. >_>;;
It really depends on alot of things. I burned mini-dvds and did a POT adjustment and even replaced the top with a full DVD tray and used regular DVD discs and still didnt work. So I bought a new Gamecube and placed the mini-disc in before opening up the new gamecube and it took right off. So I sold my old gamecube and modded the top of the new 1 and havent had problems since. both mini and the full disc work. So even if you do the POT adjustment and the replacing the top of the gamecube there still is a chance it wont work if you have an older gamecube. Just wanted to give you what I experinced to give you some ideas.
