to start getting into the computer buildup, i was thinking of doing a mini-itx build. my local fry's has the intel D201GLY motherboard(LINK) for $70.

ram; isn't an issue, as the ram i pulled from my desktop is compatable with the motherboard.

hard drive; i was thinking of using a cf-to-ide adapter and 2/4gig compactflash (1gig won't be enough to put win2000, is it?). if it doesn't work, i still have hdd's lying around.

psu and casing; i can just use my desktop setup, because this isn't a permanent setup. well, not yet.

graphics; already has integrated, but there's one standard pci slot, and i have a diamond stealth 9250 256mb card. (you'll be suprised that a few stores still caries standard pci graphic cards)

it's not gonna be a hardcore rig, obviously. just a nice, little rig to play with.

comments welcomed. has anyone done a mini/nano itx buildup yet?
