Hello, I have searched the boards but not found the answer for this as yet - so hopefully you guys can help me! When using Nero to write to a TDK 4x CD-RW I get the error message 'MINIMUM SPEED ERROR'. When I write to a 52x CD-R, I don't get this problem. Is it simply that the 4x CD-RW is too slow for Nero. If so, can I get faster speed CD-RW's? Thanks in advance. Paul
Unfortunatly newer burners don't support low speed burns. My Polaroid BurnMAX48x writes a minimum of 8x (bummer). I need 4x to burn my encoded MPEG2 (SVCD) files so I have to rely on my ole' LG12x burner. Shoey
Thanks for the reply guys. My drive is made by Artec (52x24x52). I'm afraid I don't know the model number. Can I buy CD-RW's that allow a faster write speed?
Yes you can, and quite likely it will. CD-RW 10x is known as "CD-RW HS" (High Speed) and CD-RW 24x is "CD-RW US" (Ultra Speed).
