Mirror 2x (DVD-r) on SONY DRU-500?

    hi Anyone use Mirror 2x (DVD-r) on SONY DRU-500ax?
    found a compatability chart on Bigpockets.co.uk which indicates Mirror 4x sould work on my system. Found cheap source for Mirror 2x, will they work

    I tried 4x Mirror DVDs on my Sony U10A 1.1c. It recognised the media but just burnt coasters even at low speed. I haven't retested since updating the firmware to the DRU 500 20.f.
    Whatever you do, do not buy the Bigpockets 49p DVD+Rs. (Yet another coaster as I write)
