Missin Channels on Starview 3 Superbox ... I have read other posts before posting this...

Hi,

I have recently bought a Starview 3 Superbox having previously had a Starview 2 box. I have updated the Starview 2 box and had no problems. I have a problem with the Superbox 3 (API ver 7.05_E, Boot Ver: 8.0)
I have downloaded the superbox dublin nthell dump.bin file and flashed the Superbox with it as well as the firmware update.

I'm still missing the channels (C4, E4, Sky One etc.). I have tried the method I've seen in other posts where I enter the secret menu (menu 1570) and press OK on the Set Default key option, switch to Sky Sports and the box starts updating, but does not seem to update C4 etc.

Anyone any ideas ?

I've tried to use the GTRom_Super_8.00e.exe firmware uploader as well but this is no different.

Have I missed something ?

Press menu instalation ... manual scan.. input 347.500
and scan this will bring in those channels

appreciate the quick response. I've done what you said and the manual search finds 10 channels (C4, Sky One etc), I press the exit button but it doesn't seem to be saving the updated channels. Still getting 'bad or scrambled channel'

Is there a way to save these new channels ?

You need to do a factory reset and rescan. Dont forget to turn key emu back on.
