Hi hope someone can help, I've looked through all the threads and think I may have a unique problem if it’s been answered previously then apologies.

I live in Croydon and my cable operator is now V.M. (previously Telepest). I've got the and the correct 15Jul08 firmware. When I did the original powerscan, I got 11 channels being CNN, several Discovery one and Sony. After searching through the forums I came across Onitsuka's thread and used SR 6.952 and frequency 162 to 866. I now have around 200 odd channels but not the above 11, which I really need.

    Please can someone help...

Please don't multipost. When someone comes on that knows the answer to your query, they will answer you.

If you look under HiTeck's signature, he has channel dump files for the uk. Check and see what frequency your missing channels are on and do a manual scan for them. Best i can do for now, sorry!

    Afternoon eva :)

    Bigfun,

Before using the CDF,do a factory default then turn the box off for a minute then back on, go to user installation not the fast install, powerscan from 100 to 850 symbol rate 6952 step set to 8 and FAV sort ON.

Plug your contract box back in and see if that works.

Try downloading the CDF from before to your box, do a factory default before you try to load the CDF.

Just to add I would put this down to a cc problem as said before, their are a load of issue surrounding you at the moment so if the CDF doesn't work and the instructions I gave you above then try again at a later time,

Look at all these problems around you,

I think I may have the wrong CDF file, and I'm having trouble locating one for the Croydon area. Pls can you provide or point me in the right direction...many thanxs for your patience.

you need winrar to open it, then unzip it to your desktop. I have tried both the links I gave you and there ok for me.
