could someone tell me if they are getting the same fault as me. I'm in the edinburgh area with V***n and some of my channels have vanished (setanta golf, discovery real time extra ,virgin1 and a few more) I did a factory reset and a new scan and instead of getting 38 different frequencies I now only get 37 it would appear i'm not getting 683.00 mhz I've got a eurovox max v 2008 with the latest firmware . I have tried also my proper box but these channels are blank although i should be recieving them is this happening to anyone else or is it my cable line or just they have a problem cheers
Sounds like a CC problem if your subbed box is also affected. It should resolve itself. Is the problem recent?
yes, think happened in the yesterday or so ,presume cc mean cable company? Only problem is they want to come and have a look so will have to have a rearrange of boxes if it doesnt fix itself by tomorrow as they say they have not had enough calls yet to consider it a system fault they think its a box fault but i'm certain its a system fault
If it was a system fault they would have had plenty of calls by now So looks like a fault at your end also check all your cable/splitter connections, a loose connection can weaken your signal where only one TP maybe affected, (usually the weakest one).
I have the same problem, in the same area, with the same supplier. It happened back of midnight last night. Playing the waiting game with digits crossed. Muchos gracias to all for they're constant application to helping others resolve problems.
cheers guys have spoken to another couple of people in the area and have the same problem so it looks like will just have to wait until enough people phone them up and it goes to a system fault hope it before the golf starts later on setanta
