Missing Channels

    Hi Guys, Ive been having problems updating software on my box, I got new keys but i have lost rte and a few other channels, is there anyway of getting them back?? Any help would be great, thanks

    delete the channels you are having problems with..... then do an auto scan, they will come back in!!

    ok really stupid question!! how do i delete individual channels??

    Press menu, go to channel edit, at the bottom you will see a blue option, go to the programmes you are having trouble with you will see them on the R/H side and delete them, you will see a red line go through them, when finnished you will see a message saying savings or something then go to instalation, autoscan, and they will come back

    Des im really sorry but im new to all this!! i deleted the channel and did an auto scan and rte 1 isnt there at all now???

    ok... press instalation then go to manual. input 339.500 then go to search, it should come back this way!

    lol its my dads box and he will only watch the news on rte lol, cheers mate, im getting used to these things now lol

    yep, checked that!! rte 1 is coming up on the info bar but just a black screen

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

    Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

    celtic cheers for that but its coming up scrambled or bad channel just on rte 1????

    Mick have you not got RTE on the normal channels? It would save you pulling your hair out!! LOL

    did you check and see was it ok when you plug your coaxil into the tv?

    It may be that you have a bad signal on that frequency are all the stations your missing on the same frequency?

    no just rte 1 !!!!!!!!!! but have checked my eurovox and rte 1 and 2 are really bad picture

    Jaysus you will have me pulling my hair out!! Is the cable split any were from the original feed, I am pressuming its a second TV, try it on the main feed, and see if it works on that, were abouts are you?
