Dear all, I know i'm bound to get some people telling me i should have not started this thread because the answer to my question is already located somewhere, however i am unable to find it. Therefore please accept my apologies in advance. I have a starview 3 box and i live in London. I bought my box and I had it flashed. However some channels e.g. Sky Sports 1, 2, and 3 and the sky movie channels don't come on. I have re-scanned it on numerous occasions and unlocked the EMU key as well but i keep getting the same results. Please can someone tell me if I need to get my box re-flashed or do I need to download some software on it. I really don't have a clue where to start. If someone can help me get the other channels it would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Reflashing is the same as downloading. What date is the firmware you have on it? If you click on the link, you will find everything you need in there: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/722659 If it is your first time flashing i would recommend that you use a pc with windows xp, not vista, also make sure you have a 9 pin female serial port, you will need to get a rs232 null modem cable, make sure it is null modem as the ordinary rs232 won't do the job.
