i've got a ton of cd's that i ripped to my pc before it was conected to the internet - and whilst i know that windows media player finds info and adds to a playlist - it doesnt update the original info in the albums in my documents/ my music etc - is there any way i can get it to do this ? many thanks
Download tag & rename. http://www.softpointer.com/download.htm#tr It's very simple software. All you have to do is loacte the folder in which the album is stored under, highlight all tracks, and click on the button which says get info from Amazon. The info should then download and you can edit the filenames how ever you like.
